METHOD

Botox is a completely safe and effective treatment with a wide anti-wrinkle application. Botulinum toxin is a biological toxin produced by the anaerobic Clostridium botulinum. We know 7 types of antigenic toxins labeled A-G. Cosmetic use is a purified form of botulinum toxin that develops under special conditions. Botulinum toxin effectively smoothes lines facial facial expressions and restores youthful face and “fresh” look. Indications for the procedure: The reduction of wrinkles on the upper part of the face – botox is excellent for removing wrinkles (frontal lines) as well as “chicken feet”, wrinkles between the eyebrows, or arising between the eyes of laughter wrinkles Treatment of hyperhidrosis – after botulin injection into areas characterized by excessive sweating, neuromuscular blocks are blocked in this area, which in consequence leads to the withdrawal of sweat by the sweat glands located there Treatment of bruxism (gnashing of teeth) – Botox can effectively deal with this problem as well. It is injected in this case in the jaw muscles, which reduces their strength to the minimum necessary and limits the increased work.

DESCRIPTION OF TREATMENT

Botulinum toxin therapy involves the administration of a small dose of the preparation to selected facial areas. The action of botulin is that it blocks neuromuscular joints existing in the tissues, resulting in muscle relaxation. Botox works only within the muscle to which it was injected, preventing muscle contraction and wrinkling of the skin, thus relaxing the muscle and the skin above it.

EFFECTS

The effect of the toxin appears gradually. The first change can be seen after 2-3 days. The full effect of the toxin occurs up to 14 days after surgery. As a result, botulinum toxin wrinkles disappear, but facial expression does not change. Restoration of neuromuscular endothelial function occurs after about 6 months.
